Will my formatting be preserved?

Word, Excel, and Markdown convert with strong fidelity. PDF conversions extract the text content — complex layouts, images, and exact positioning aren't preserved, since that requires reconstructing the page rather than reading it. JSON and XML preview with full formatting and syntax highlighting; list-like data (an array of records) converts into a real table, and everything else carries through as readable formatted text.

Is there a file size limit?

No hard limit, but very large files (over roughly 25MB) may take longer or struggle in some browsers, since everything is processed on your device rather than a server.
