Many Saints of Newark: What Song Is In Trailer # 2 – {FilesFlip}

The Many Saints of Newark has released its second trailer, which makes the prequel of Sopranos look even better, all backed by an unforgettable music selection.

The second trailer for The Many Saints of Newark is tuned to a new wave version of an old blues song. The upcoming Warner Bros. movie is a preview of the hit drama from HBO The Sopranos, which premiered in 1999 and by the time it ended in 2007, had become one of the biggest shows on television. The SopranosThe surprising conclusion was the last time Tony Soprano’s story would be investigated, especially after James Gandolfini passed away in 2013.

The Many Saints of Newark is the attempt of WB and HBO to revive the story with original creator David Chase and author Lawrence Konner. It’s a prequel focusing on a young Tony Soprano, played by James Gandolfini’s son Michael, and his upbringing during a crime family power struggle in Newark. It comes as Dickie Moltisanti (Alessandro Nivola) helps shape Tony into the powerful crowd boss the audience knows him. The Many Saints of Newark is directed by Alan Taylor and also stars Jon Bernthal, Leslie Odom Jr., Corey Stoll, Vera Farmiga, Billy Magnussen and Ray Liotta.

The decision to link ‘Money (That’s What I Want)’ The Many Saints of NewarkThe trailer is a bit on the nose, but it does speak to the mindset of the characters and the people in the crowd. The lyrics of the song concentrate on the desire to raise money and the idea that it is the only thing in life that one really needs. It goes so far as to say that anything that money cannot get is of no use. Although Tony Soprano cares about more than just money, the financial benefits of his crowd have enabled him to become just as strong as he did, so the importance of money in this trailer is understandable.

Although “Money (That’s What I Want)” was included in the second trailer The Many Saints of Newark, it is not a guarantee that it will appear in the movie itself. The version of the song Flying Lizzards was not released at the time the prequel movie was released in 1967. However, the original rendition of Barrett Strong of The Beatles’ 1963 cover could be heard on the radio at some point. As The Many Saints of Newark wants to include the Flying Lizzards’ new wave arrangement, it could still include the song as part of the movie’s soundtrack.
