After the departure of many original role players, Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval reveals that the change was an improvement in the series.

To round off the changes, newlyweds Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have announced they will not be returning for another season. With so many anomalies coinciding with a film break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, questions arose as to what the future of the series would look like.
Despite the absence of most original role players, Tom Sandoval believes the changes have been an improvement Vanderpump rules. Talk to US Weekly along with his fellow castmate and TomTom business partner Tom Schwartz, the Toms thought about what it was like to film season 9 without their fellow daughters. “If you go from something like 20 members of the company to basically 12, it’s an adjustment,“Sandoval conceded and noted that the change allowed the show”go a little deeper with each person instead of skating on the surface.“
Previous seasons allow for a lot of things “slide through the cracks“because of the large cast, according to Sandoval. But now that the group is smaller,”we are more involved, it is deeper.“Fans will also be introduced to some new faces on the show.”I think it’s going to be fun for the audience to get to know Brock [Davies]. He’s such a great personality,“Tom Schwartz said about the new fiancée of Scheana Shay. He also teased that viewers would have more time with role players who could previously take a back seat.”The audience got to know her season 8, but you will get to know Charlie [Burnett] more, ” he said.
The Toms also reveal that they’re still seeing some of their former rolemates outside the show. Schwartz and his wife, Katie Maloney, are still friends with Stassi, who welcomed her first child this year with former filmmaker Beau Clark. As for Jax Taylor, with whom Tom Sandoval had a complicated friendship, Sandoval is a little wary of where they stand: ‘We’re cool. I don’t talk to him that much. … They’re busy, we’re busy.“
