Vincent D’Onofrio teases his return as Kingpin in Hawkeye – {FilesFlip}

Shortly after the Hawkeye trailer was released, Vincent D’Onofrio apparently teased a return as Wilson Fisk in the upcoming Marvel series. For three seasons, D’Onofrio plays the supervillain, also known as Kingpin, in the Netflix series Daredevil. There’s no indication that he’s ever going to repeat the role, but it’s something Marvel fans have been calling for for years.

Minutes to the Hawkeye trailer has been released, Vincent D’Onofrio a bizarre poem posted about a “three-legged dog”. The tweet reads: “The three-legged dog. Running, jumping and with an incredible wrap. This dog does not ask for forgiveness. This dog looks up at us. Wants to know what’s next. The head tilted it says. Where should we go, “What should we do? Why are we waiting? I say to myself. This dog is right.”

Many fans see this as a reference to the golden retriever who becomes Hawkeye’s new best friend in the series. D’Onofrio, who further teases that it is a direct reference, likes tweets that speculate that it means his return as Kingpin. One such tweet reads’ THE KING RETURNS IN HAWKEYE ‘, while another remarks:’ Mf just posted a tweet 10 minutes after the Hawkeye trailer released. “

D’Onofrio clearly fuels the fire with the tweets he likes. D’Onofrio tweeted earlier about his desire to bring Kingpin back Spider-Man: No Way Home, and this also appears to be possible given the rumors of Cox’s involvement.

‘I could never do with what the actor in the Daredevil film, ” D’Onofrio said about playing the role via ComicBook.com. ‘ He was unique to himself and no, that was a very different approach to me. I did not consider. The only influence I had from the comics was the art I was attracted to was Bill Sienkiewicz and David Mack, the guys, the two artists. I asked them for more of their art or any inspiration they could give me. And they gave me a lot of the two, which I actually still have. I’m considering friendships with the two artists, I think they’s incredibly talented. And if you look at their particular art, you understand how it affected my character. ”
